As per government's decision, all educational institutions throughout the country will remain closed on Thursday.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid announced the decision on Wednesday evening citing security reasons amidst raging protests by students against deadly road accidents, reports bdnews24.com.
“In the wake of the situation that has developed, all educational institutions will remain closed tomorrow for the sake of the students’ safety,” he said.
Diya Khanam Mim and Abdul Karim Rajib, students of the college section of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin School and College, were killed as a bus ploughed through some students in front of Kurmitola General Hospital on Airport Road on July 29.
The agitating students of different schools and colleges continued road blockade in Dhaka for the fourth day demanding justice over the deaths.
