Education Minister’s personal officer goes 'missing'

Personal officer (PO) of Education Minister Motaleb Hossain reportedly went missing from Basila area of the capital on Sunday.

Motaleb's brother filed a general diary with Hazaribagh Police Station in this regard.

Officer-in-Charge of Hazaribagh police station Meer Alimuzzaman confirmed media about the general diary.

According to the GD, Motaleb left residence in Green Road area for Basila on Saturday afternoon to look after the work of his under-construction multi-storied building and did not return home at night.

Education ministry's senior information officer Arfazur Rahman said Motaleb left his residence in Green Road area around 4pm and his mobile phone was found switched off since then.

According to UNB, Hazaribagh OC said police trying to trace Motaleb as soon as possible.

On Thursday, an education ministry staffer, Nasir Uddin, was reported missing by his family, who is yet to be found. A general diary was filed with the Banani police in Dhaka.
