Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni has been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), officials confirmed the FE.
The minister is doing well without experiencing any visible complications, Public Relation Officer of the ministry Mohammad Abul Khair told the FE Monday.
The minister’s sample for Covid-19 test was collected on Sunday morning and the result came out Sunday night, he continued.
Dr Moni, also a lawmaker from Chandpur-3 constituency, is in isolation at home and taking treatment from there, the official added.
