The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) taskforce cut off utility services of 18 holding in Old Dhaka on Tuesday for illegally storing chemicals and other flammable items in residential areas.
Five teams of the taskforce conducted the separate drives at different places of the area, Public Relation Officer of the DSCC Uttam Kumar Roy told the FE.
The task force carried out the raids in Hazaribagh Moneshor road of 14 ward of, Urdu Road and Hosne Dalal of 27 number ward, Agamashi lane of 33 number ward , Awlad Hossain Lane of 36 number ward and snapped water, electricity and gas connection of 18 holdings, said he.
The taskforce cut the utility services of total 94 holdings in the last four days, said Roy.
The drives will continue until April 1.
