Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Md Atiqul Islam and his wife Dr. Shaila Shagufta Islam have been diagnosed with Covid-19.
They gave samples for coronavirus test on Sunday morning after feeling sick. Their results came positive last night, says a media release.
Rishad Morshed, APS-2 of the mayor, also tested positive for the virus, said the release.
