A mobile court of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) conducted drives in city’s Gulshan area aiming to curb dengue mosquito breeding in the capital.
The court also fined Tk 0.2 million to the owner of NWB 28(119) house at the area for breeding ground for Aedes mosquitoes or larvae on rooftop of the building.
The mobile court led by Executive Magistrate of DNCC Mohammad Sajid Anowar conducted the drives on Wednesday.
The drives were conducted as per Local Government (City Corporation) Act, 2009.
Such drives of the DNCC will continue in the coming days to curb dengue outbreak, according to a statement.
