Introduction of digital service system has ensured hassle-free services at Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
Roads, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader made the remarks on Sunday after a sudden visit at Mirpur BRTA office in Dhaka.
"Domination of brokers was reduced at BRTA after digital system was introduced there as well as quality of services also improved," he said.
During the visit, the minister talked to some service receivers and enquired them about the standard of services.
He also asked the authorities concern to increase monitoring system, enhance closed-circuit camera service and help desk facilities.
