Train services between Dhaka and Sylhet resumed on Sunday as flood water started receding in most of the areas of the district.
"The train communication on Dhaka-Sylhet route resumed at around 12:55 on Sunday," Sylhet Railway Station Manager Nurul Islam said, reports BSS.
The authorities suspended train communication on the Dhaka-Sylhet route on Saturday due to heavy rainfall and an onrush of water from the upstream.
