Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) will add 12 more beds at the Incentive Care Unit (ICU) next week to provide critical treatment to a larger number of patients.
At present, a total of 20 beds exits at the Intensive Care Unit.
Besides, four new operation theatres will be added at the Emergency Department of the hospital, according to a local news agency.
This was stated at a discussion on the development of DMCH, Sir Salimullah Medical College, Kurmitola General Hospital and Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital at the secretariat with Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim in the chair.
