The healthcare authorities on Wednesday asked the vaccine recipients to follow the government's guidelines on taking the Covid-19 jabs and not to change the designated hospital or vaccination centre.
Spokesperson of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Dr Nazmul Islam reiterated this at a virtual health bulletin on the day.
He asked people to go to the inoculation centre they have selected through the 'Surokkha’ app, adding disorder will arise if people do not follow the government's directives for vaccination.
Earlier this month, the DGHS said people who have received their first Covid vaccine doses cannot change inoculation centres for receiving the second dose as it would create complications and vaccine takers would face problems like not getting vaccination certificates.
