Detectives in a drive seized nine zebras from Satmail Bazar area in Sharsha upazila early Wednesday.
Tipped off, a team of Detective Branch of police raided the area around 12 am and recovered the zebras while being taken to the neighbouring country, said Maniruzzaman, officer-in-charge of DB.
However, police could not arrest anyone in this connection, he added.
The policeman said of sharing further details at a press briefing later in the day, reports UNB.
