Two persons have been arrested in possession of 31 gold bars (over five kg) worth around Tk 30 million at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday night.
The arrested are named Keramat Ali and Lokman.
Customs officials said they recovered the gold after the two arrived at the airport board a Biman flight of Bangkok-Chittagong-Dhaka route.
Two cases have been filed.
