Two people, including the driver of a CNG-run auto-rickshaw, were killed in separate road accidents on Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Chouddagram upazila of Cumilla on Wednesday.
Auto-rickshaw driver Sabuj Mia, 22, son of Hafiz Md Hanif of Fuler Nauri village in the upazila, died on the spot when his auto-rickshaw turned turtle on the highway in Gunabati area around 12:00pm, said Assistant Sub-inspector Rezaul Karim of Chouddagram Police Station.
In another incident on the highway, an unidentified man died on the spot when a speeding bus hit him in Times Square area, said the SI, reports UNB.
