Police arrested two suspected muggers in connection with Daffodil International University (DIU) student Talha murder case.
The arrestees are Milon (20), and Sabuj (19), a news agency reported.
Tipped off, a team of Wari division of police conducted a special drive at Kaptan Bazar in the city on Tuesday evening and arrested the duo, said Wari Police Station officer-in-charge Rafiqul Islam.
Police will brief media about the arrestees at the office of Deputy Commissioner of Wari division (DC Wari) around 10:30 am.
Earlier on October 8, Abu Talha (22), son of Nuruddin, a 2nd year student of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department of DIU was stabbed to death reportedly by a gang of muggers at Tikatuli in the city.
Later on October 14, members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested Jibon Hossian Litu (28), the ringleader of a mugger gang, which killed Talha in the city, from Rupsha area in Narayanganj district.
