Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a suspected drug pedlar from Subid Bazar in Sylhet on Saturday afternoon.
The arrestee was identified as Biswajit Roy (20), son of late Pradweep Roy, a resident of Tarapur, a news agency reported.
On secrete information, RAB members conducted a drive at Subid Bazar and arrested Biswajit.
The elite force members also recovered 144 liters of wine from the spot, said Moniruzzaman, senior assistant director (Media) of RAB-9.
Later, the arrestee was handed over to Airport Police Station, the RAB official added.
