Police recovered a woman’s beheaded body from the city's Agargaon area on Monday.
A traffic policeman first saw the body on a road opposite to Bangabandhu International Conference Center around 11:30am.
Later, members of the Kafrul police satiation recovered the body and sent it to Sohrawardi Medicl College Hospital morgue for autopsy, said sources.
The hands and legs of the body also remained missing till filing the report at 8:30pm on Monday, police sources added.
Sub-Inspector of the Kafrul police satiation Rezaul Karim Khan said to FE that a case is being filed in this regard. Police investigation was on to find the missing parts of the beheaded female body, he added.
