Police detain youth with yaba at Cox’s Bazar airport

Police arrested a young man along with 4,500 pieces of yaba pills from the main gate of the Cox's Bazar airport on Tuesday morning.

The arrestee has been identified as Md Abdullah, 32, son of late Mahmud Ullah of Puratan Noyapara area in Teknaf upazila, reports a news agency.

Over suspicion, police challenged Abdullah at the main gate of the airport at around 11:30am and seized the yaba pills after searching his luggage, said Assistant Sub-inspector Arif Ullah of Cox's Bazar Sadar Model Police Station.
