The deceased was identified as Md Jamal Hossain (40), son of Farid Ahmed.
Jamal locked into an altercation in the morning with one his neighbour over cooking in a gas stove around 8:00 am, said Jahirul Islam, Sub-inspector, in-charge of Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH),
Over the issue, his neighbour stabbed Jamal, leaving him critically injured.
Later, Jamal was taken to the hospital where doctors declared him dead around
