Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested an alleged drug pedlar along with 144 bottles of Phensedyl from Bohorom Tantipara village of Sadar upazila on Sunday night.
Being tipped off, a team of Rab led by additional superintendent Sakibul Islam Khan, camp commander of Chapai Nawabganj Rab camp, conducted a drive around 10:45 a.m and arrested Sri Utpaul Chandra Bhaskor (24) from his house, a news agency reported.
Later, the team recovered 144 bottles of Phensedyl under his bed.
A case was filed in this connection.
