Cops recover RMG worker’s bullet-riddled body in Savar

Police recovered the bullet-riddled body of a garment worker from Savar’s Ashulia in the early hours of Saturday.

The dead man was Russel Khan, 27, son of Fazlu Khan and a worker of 'Manta Apparels'.

Local people took Russel with bullet injuries to Enam Medical College Hospital at around 2:30am, said Jabed Masud, inspector of Ashulia Police Station, adding that miscreants might have shot the victim at Shimultola at around 1:00am.

Russel soon succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, reports UNB.

According to the OC, based on primary information, following an incident of mobile phone snatching, Russel along with his several friends went to the area to catch the culprits.
