Police recovered the bullet riddled body of a young man from Jashore-Narail highway in Sitarampul area on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Tariqul Islam, 28, son of Mizanur Rahman of Bagherpara upazila of the district.
Locals found the body in the morning and informed the police, Sub-inspector Masud Rana of Sadar Police Station confirmed, said a UNB report.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to sadar hospital for an autopsy, he said.
