A Dhaka court has deferred the hearing on the Zia Charitable Trust graft case as BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was not taken to court from jail.
It also extended her bail on Tuesday until July 17 in response to an appeal made by her lawyer Advocate Sanaullah Miah. The court will resume arguments on the same date, bdnews24 reported.
Judge Md Akhteruzzaman passed the order following the petition seeking extension of her bail on Tuesday.
On June 28, the court extended her bail in the graft case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission.
