Police recovered the throat-silt body of a young man from Dorakul village at Companiganj upazila in Sylhet on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Badrul Amin, 20, son of Momtaz Ali.
Tazul Islam, officer-in-charge of Companiganj Police Station, said that Badrul did not return after he went out from home on Tuesday night.
Later, locals spotted the body from beside Dorakul Government Primary School in the morning and informed police.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital for an autopsy, reports UNB.
