Woman dies from electrocution while talking to son on charging cellphone

Mother-of-two Mabia Khatun, 35, has been electrocuted while talking to her son over mobile phone while charging it in Kushtia district today.

The woman died while talking to her son Mamun on Thursday morning, over the cellphone while it was still connected to its charger, reports UNB.

Elder brother of Mabia's husband Kitab Ali informed that Mabia died while talking to her son Mamun, a student of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology.

Later, she was rescued in critical condition and sent to Kumarkhali Upazila Health Complex where the attending physicians declared her dead.
