Two teen boys return home after serving two-year jail in India

Two Bangladeshi teenage boys returned home from India through Benapole landport on Friday night after serving two-year jail.

They are Sujoy Mandal, 15, son of Kiron Mandal of Monikhali village and Milon, 16, son of Bimol of Chankhali village.

Abul Bashar, officer-in-charge of Benapole checkpost police of immigration, said that human traffickers sent them to the neighbouring country at different times alluring them with good jobs there.

Later, Kolkata police arrested them for not having any valid documents and produced them before a court which sentenced them to jail.

On completion of their jail term, they were handed over to an Indian NGO, according to a UNB report.

Finally, Indian immigration police handed them over to Benapole immigration police through Benapole check-post at night.
