Two motorcycle riders have died after a car ploughed into the vehicle in Sirajganj’s Ullapara Upazila.
The accident occurred on the Nalka-Sirajganj road in the upazila’s Panchlia Bazar area around 10pm on Wednesday, Hatikumrul Highway Police Station OC Akhteruzzaman said.
The casualties have been identified only as Azim, 17, and Tanvir, 20, bdnews24.com reported.
“Tanvir and Azim were heading towards Raiganj from Nalka on a motorbike. A heavy vehicle ran over their vehicle at Panchlia Bazar area and sped away from the accident,” said OC Akhteruzzaman.
Both riders died on the spot, said the OC, adding that police could not identify the vehicle responsible for the accident.
