At least 10 people were injured in a clash between two groups at Mosheskhali Eidgah in Shalikha Upazila of Magura district on Monday morning over a donation of Tk 5.0.
Tariqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Shalikha Police Station, said after completing Eid congregation, Manu Member and Bachch Molla demanded ‘donations’ from participants of the Eid congregation.
They locked into an altercation when one Abdul Goni gave Tk 5 to them. It eventually led to a fisticuff which left 10 of them injured.
Policemen from the Singra outpost rushed to the site and brought the situation under control, the OC said.
