A man was killed after being run over by a bus in city’s Asad Gate area on Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as Ashrafuddin Dewan, 60, a resident of Mirpur area hailing from Gazaria upazila of Munshiganj.
The accident took place around 9:30am, reports UNB.
A bus of ‘Prajapati Paribahan’ hit Dewan when he was crossing road in front of Care Hospital, leaving him injured, said Bachchu Mia, inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost.
Later, he was taken to DMCH where doctors pronounced him dead.
