President Abdul Hamid to leave Dhaka for Kathmandu on Tuesday

President Abdul Hamid will leave Dhaka for Kathmandu on Tuesday on a four-day visit to Nepal at the invitation of Nepalese President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, reports UNB.

A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President will take off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:30 am.

The Nepalese President and Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal Mashfee Binte Shams will receive Abdul Hamid at Tribhuvan International Airport of Nepal.

During the visit, meetings will be held on November 13 with Foreign Minister of Nepal Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Chairman of the National Assembly (Upper House) Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, former Prime Minister and Co-chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (ruling party) Pushpa Kamal Dahal, President of the Nepali Congress Party and Leader of the Opposition Sher Bahadur Deuba and Prime Minister and Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party KP Sharma Oli.

Besides, a bilateral meeting between the Presidents of the two countries will be held on the same day at Sital Niwas (Presidential House) of Nepal.

President Hamid will visit the Unesco heritage site Bhaktapur Durbar Square and various temples in Kathmandu.

He will also join the dinner hosted by Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal at Bangladesh House of Bansbari in Kathmandu on the same day. 

Abdul Hamid will visit Pokhara on November 14 and attend the programme to be organised by Bangladesh Club, Bangladesh Community members living in Kathmandu.

He will visit Chandragiir hills on the last day of the visit on November 15.

The President will leave Tribhuvan International Airport at 05:00 pm on the day and the flight carrying him will land at the Dhaka airport at 06:30 pm.
