Police recover body of schoolboy in Cumilla

Police recovered the body of a schoolboy at Barkamta village in Cumilla’s Debidwar upazila on Wednesday.

The 15-year-old victim was identified as Joy Chandra Ghosh, a Class VII student of Chandina Pilot High School and son of Amar Chandra Ghosh of Nabiabad village in the upazila.

Zahirul Anwar, officer-in-charge of Debidwar Police Station, said local people found an arm of a human dumped under soil near Kali Temple in the village.

Later, they informed it to police, who recovered the body and sent it to Comilla Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy, reports UNB.

Joy had remained missing since January 14 and a general diary was lodged with Debidwar Police Station.
