A man was killed as a truck crushed him at Kashiana upazila in Gopalganj district in the early hours of Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Mohammod Ali, 45, son of Lal Miah, a resident of Pona area of the upazila, according to BSS.
Police said the accident occurred on the Dhaka-Khulna highway in Pona area as the truck ran over Ali when he was crossing the road. He died on the spot.
