At least two people have been killed and two others injured in a thunderbolt strike at Charavita Mahmudpur village under Bagharpara upazila under Jashore.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Ali, 14, son of Hossain Sarder, and Sabbir Hossain, 22, son of Shahbar Hossain of the village.
According to local sources, lightning hit the four people at around 12:30 pm on Thursday while they were gossiping on the corridor of Milon Molla's house, UNB reported.
They were critically injured and rushed to Jashore 250 Bed Hospital, where on-duty doctors declared Ali and Sabbir dead.
