A farmer was killed when a thunderbolt struck him at Chareshpur Pashchim Para village under Sadar upazila in Sherpur on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Mojibur Rahaman, son of late Badsha Mia of the village.
A thunderbolt hit him while working in a paddy field amid rain around 2 pm, said UP chairman Anwar Hossain, reports UNB.
