A fire broke out at a tyre factory at Dapa Idrakpur in Fatulla in Narayanganj on Wednesday morning.
Manjur Quader, Officer-in-Charge of Fatullah Police Station, said the fire broke out at the factory around 8:30 am and spread soon.
On information, eight firefighting units rushed in and were trying to bring the fire under control, UNB reported citing the OC.
Police suspected that fire might have originated from the chemical godown inside the factory.
