Police recovered the severed body of an unidentified youth from near a rail track at Koktara in Panchbibi upazila of Joypurhat on Sunday evening.
Farid Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Panchbibi Police Station said that locals spotted the body of the youth, aged about 30, beside the rail track around 6pm and informed police.
On information, police recovered the body, UNB reported.
Police suspected that the young man might have been crushed under train.
