An elderly man was killed in a road accident at Borodadpur village in Gomostapur upazila of Chapainawabganj on Sunday.
The deceased was identified Moslem Uddin, 70, a resident of Mohadanga village in Porsha upazila.
Sub-inspector Bazlur Rahman of Gomostapur Police Station said that the accident took place at around 8am when a picnic bus hit a human hauler on which Moslem was travelling, leaving him dead on the spot.
Police recovered the body from the spot, UNB reported quoting the official.
