Bullet-hit body found along Kushtia border

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered the bullet-hit body of a young man from Charpara border along Daulatpur upazila in Kushtia district on Sunday, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Robi, 30, son of Janu Mandal of Haidarchar in the upazila.

Company commander of Mohishkundi BGB-47 subedar Jahangir Alam said Robi was killed in an attack by his rivals while fishing.

On the other hand, Siraj Mandal, chairman of Ramkrishnapur union, claimed that the members of Indian border Security Force (BSF) of Bausmari camp opened fire on some Bangladeshi cattle traders while they were entering into the country with cattle through the border, leaving Robi dead on the spot.
