A bicycle rider was killed as a passenger bus hit him in sadar upazila of Lalmonirhat today (Wednesday).
The deceased was identified as Abdul Mozid, 42, resident at Shibganj of the upazila, said Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Thana Mahfuj Alom, BSS reports.
Local people said the accident took place in the morning in Jurabandha area on Kurigram-Rangpur Highway, leaving Abdul Mozid dead on the spot.
