BGB nabs two hundi traders in Benapole

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested two hundi traders along with Tk 0.65 million from Boro Achra bordering area in Benapole port region on Tuesday night.

The arrestees were identified as Mushfiqur Rahman, 32, son of Shawkat Ali of Naogaon district and Abdullah, 48, son of Kutub Uddin of Koupa village in Dinajpur district.

Tipped off, a team of BGB conducted a drive in the area and arrested them along with the money, said Subedar Mizanur Rahman, commanding officer of Benapole BGB camp, UNB reports.

Later, they were handed over to police.
