Police recovered the body of an unidentified man, aged around 45, from a pond in Akhaura municipal area in Brahmanbaria on Monday.
Locals spotted the body, floating in a pond behind Maldar Para Nasrin Nabi School around 9am, said Mosharaf Hossain Tarafdar, Officer-in-Charge of Akhaura Police Station.
Being informed by the locals, police recovered the body later, UNB reported quoting the OC.
