Police arrested a government employee from Akhura upazila on Thursday for making derogatory remarks about Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on his Facebook status.
Md Mobarok Karim, a field assistant of Akhaura upazila veterinary hospital, on his Facebook account wrote that the Prime Minister is more dangerous than a snake, said Md Mosharraf Hossain, officer-in-charge of Akhaura Police Station.
On information about his comment, locals caught him from the hospital and handed him over to police in the afternoon, reports UNB.
Further actions against him will be taken after investigation, the OC added.
