A construction worker died after falling from an under-construction building in Court Chattar area of Sunamganj district town on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Md Mostafa Mia, 55, son of Gausul Mia of Gaibandha district, reports UNB.
Md Shahidullah, officer-in-charge of Sadar Model Police Station, said Mostafa fell from a seven-storey building around 4:30pm while working on its roof, leaving him critically injured.
He was taken to Sadar Hospital where duty physician Dr Md Rafiqul Islam declared him dead, he added.
