Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal divisions and the regions of Rangamati, Sitakunda, Chandpur, Tangail, Faridpur, Kishoreganj, Madaripur and Hatiya and it may continue for some more days, said a meteorological office release today (Friday).
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. Moreover, moderate to thick fog may occur over the country from midnight to morning and it may continue till noon over north-western part of the country, it added.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, reports BSS.
The highest temperature was recorded on Thursday 24.5 degrees Celsius at Teknaf while the lowest temperature today 6.2 degrees Celsius at Badalgachhi under Rajshahi division.
The sunsets at 5.30 pm today and rises at 6.44 am tomorrow in Dhaka city.
