Police arrested an intern of Chattogram Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) on Saturday in a case filed under the Anti-Pornography Act by his lover.
The arrestee is Arnab Paul, former assistant organising secretary of CMCH unit Bangladesh Chhatra League committee.
The accused was arrested around 12:00 am from the CMCH hostel with the help of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP), reports UNB.
“Arnab was arrested in a pornography case filed at Khilkhet police station in Dhaka in February this year. The plaintiff of the case said she had a love affair with the accused, “said Sadekur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Panchlaish police station.
DMP is investigating the case, said the OC.
