Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain has reconstituted five benches of the High Court as the Supreme Court reopens on Monday after a long vacation of one and a half months.
Of the reconstituted benches, two are two-member ones and the rest are one-member ones (single benches).
Meanwhile, the Chief Justice and the judges of both the Appellate Division and the High Court Division will hold a courtesy meeting with the Attorney General, Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president and secretary and other lawyers at lane of the SC main building at 10am.
Earlier on August 14, the SC went on the autumn vacation, reports UNB.
However, vacation benches heard important matters at both the divisions during the period.
