A fire broke out in a high-rise building at Moghbazar in the capital on Saturday.
Fire Service and Civil Defence said the fire broke out at the basement of the 16-storey building in Moghbazar Chowrasta area around 11:40am.
UNB said five units of fire-fighters rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control.
However, the origin of the fire could not be known immediately.
