The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has identified 11 of the 19 people who were burnt beyond recognition in the Chawkbazar fire.
“We have submitted the DNA test reports to the authorities today. They will handle the matter,” Rumana Akhtar, the CID’s special police superintendent, said on Wednesday.
The identities of the 11 victims will be disclosed in a media briefing later, bdnews24 reported citing Rumana.
