China handed over 0.5 million doses of Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine to Bangladesh on Wednesday.
Chinese Ambassador in Dhaka Li Jiming handed over the vaccines to Health Minister Jahid Maleque and Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen at the state guest house Padma.
It is the first outcome of the six countries’ Covid cooperation platform, initiated by China, said the Ambassador.
