The jurisdictions of 17 High Court (HC) benches have been reconstituted, according to a Supreme Court (SC) notification.
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain reconstituted the jurisdictions of those benches, read the notification available on the SC website, issued on Monday.
Of the 17 benches, there are 15 two-member benches while two others are single or one-member benches.
Fifteen of those reconstituted benches will begin their regular proceedings virtually from Wednesday while two other benches will hear and dispose of the cases with physical presence.
After a twelve-day annual vacation, both the Appellate Division and HC division of the apex court are set to reopen on Wednesday.
