Bus registration in Dhaka witnessed a significant decline in 2018 compared to that of 2017.
A total of 2,322 buses were registered in 2018 while the number was 3,294 in 2017, according to statistics provided by the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
With the latest, a total of 33,153 buses had been registered with the BRTA until 2018 in the city since launching of registration system, it said.
2,221 buses in 2015 and 3,479 in 2016 were registered with the transport regulator, the BRTA added.
